Overview

Built the student onboarding flow for Techspire College: students fill in a form on the onboarding website, and their data lands automatically in a Google Sheet the admissions team already works from.

Problem

Onboarding data used to need manual copying between systems, which is slow, error-prone, and hard to keep in sync during admission season.

Architecture

  • Onboarding form: web form on the college's onboarding site, validating student details at the point of entry
  • GitHub-driven workflow: the pipeline is versioned and deployed from GitHub, so changes to the form and sync logic are reviewed and tracked like any other code
  • Automated migration: each submission is pushed into Google Sheets without anyone re-typing it
  • Sheets as the interface: admissions staff keep using the tool they know, with fresh data arriving on its own

Outcome

Removed manual data entry from onboarding and gave the admissions team a live, single source of truth for new students.
